I'm a Sound Practitioner

My story really began the moment I booked my first Reiki session.

I was that girl in a corporate world. I was stressed out, and burned out. The girl everyone could count on to get it done.  Stress was starting to effect me physically. My friends were noticing and recommended Reiki. So, I set up an appointment at the end of a work trip in Atlanta. Why not right? I was up for trying anything at this point. I hopped up on the massage table for about 45 minutes and resisted the urge to open my eyes as the practitioner moved around me (I might have peaked once. lol) Mid way through my session my energy began to shift. For a moment my mind calmed and my anxiety stopped. I could breathe. I didn't realize how stressed I actually was. My exact words were what the heck just happened. But honestly, I was so zenned out. I probably just nodded and fumbled to my car. Little did I know this would kick start my personal journey into holistic health.

The week after I completed my Reiki training. I learned about sound healing and had my first sound bath. It was amazing! Music was my life growing up. I loved it all. It's like the skies parted and everything came full circle. There is so much science behind it. I completed my 200 Hour Sound Practitioner Certification with Sound Embrace. My training experience was so eye opening. I had the opportunity to work with kids processing grief, a corporate event, a retreat, and even worked with heart patients in a hospital. Listening to their experiences was so cool!

If you can feel it, you can heal it...

Once I started sound meditation work I was hooked and searched out additional tools to help others learn more about themselves and process emotions. I completed physiological kinesiology, therapeutic art life coach and ISSA group fitness certifications. Your body is smart, STRONG and powerful. Through applied kinesiology, I learned muscle checking and various techniques based in Chinese medicine.  Whether you are leveraging sound, art or movement to manifest or process emotions. These techniques can help lessen pain and restore the body's energy to a state of balance.
